Won’t you pray for us Saint Jude?
I can’t recall if i’ve met you
Heard you been livin in Chicago
That’s as far west as you’ll go
Heard there’s some more sin on the coastlines
And if you claim to be Divine
Won’t you visit them up on the mountains
Or do you love it down below?
Come on, come Saint Jude
Why won’t you answer when I call to you
You just sit there and you haunt and you tease me
How can I help but hate Thee?
Why won’t you rescue the weak?
Why should we call out to a bookmark?
As you hide away in our little books
Can’t seem to find your real purpose
Outside of our money that you took
You tell us in your Word Saint Jude
To love all the folks as you do
But you’ve been dead for some time now
Sorry for the blasphemy
Early Strand of Oaks isn't on par with the later albums, but it's still very good. Low-key acoustic album with lots of feelings without all of the bullshit. Jakob Helms

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
